Bad Advice is ½ stand up comedy show (to make you laugh) and ½ half therapy session (to fix your sad and stupid life). 

Every month Tyler Kotowski hosts a new lineup of hilarious pro comics who will perform for you, and then sit together on a panel to give advice based on anonymously submitted audience troubles, worries, etc... Finance woes? Relationship troubles? Existential Crisis?

Luci's Comedy Club is located inside of Ashdown Market at 171 Bannatyne Ave, in the heart of Winnipeg's Exchange District. Shows start at 8pm, with a 15 minute intermission and end around 9:45pm. Inside Ashdown Market, you may enjoy wine, beer, or spirits inside their restaurant area. At this time, we're not permitted to have alcoholic beverages inside Luci's Comedy Club, but you can enjoy any other snacks or non-alcoholic drinks you purchase from the grocery store.

Johnny Pemberton at Luci's Comedy Club

This show will feature Tim Gray as the MC, with sets from Tyler Kotowski. Arrive early for pre-show food and drinks inside Ashdown Market. Luci's Comedy Club is a small 50-seat club built by comics, for comedy. It's also the only comedy club in North America owned and operated by a dog. 

The show starts at 8pm, tickets are $20.  

Johnny Pemberton plays ‘Thaddeus’ in “FALLOUT” on Prime Video. He is also known for the character ‘Bo’ on the hit NBC show “Superstore”. Johnny is also a frequent guest on only the best podcasts, including “Your Mom’s House” and “Duncan Trussell Family Hour”. 

He stars in the upcoming film “Mermaid” set to release early 2026 from Utopia Films. He’s also appeared in the films “21 Jump Street” “22 Jump Street” “Neighbors 2” “The Watch” “Ant Man” “Action Point” “This is 40” “The 4th” “Tone Deaf” and Armando Ianucci’s Oscar nominated film “In The Loop”. On Television Johnny played ‘Max’ in FX's “You're The Worst”, the son of Zorn on the FOX series "Son of Zorn" and has guest starred on numerous shows including “The New Girl” “Fresh off the Boat” “Kroll Show”, “Law & Order: SVU” and “Bad Thoughts”. Johnny regularly tours as a stand-up comedian and has performed at JFL in Montreal and Toronto, the Moontower Comedy Festival, and SXSW. 

Johnny is also a voice artist featured on the animated shows “Pickle and Peanut” “Bob's Burgers” “Adventure Time” “Middlemost Post” and most recently "The Midnight Gospel" on Netflix. Johnny hosts the podcast “LIVE to TAPE with Johnny Pemberton” formerly known as “Twisting The Wind” for which he has recorded over 300 episodes.
